April 2012 EAA Chapter 1078 Meeting
EAA Chapter 1078 meeting was held at Thompson Field FBO hangar today. The highlight of the meeting was offering 21 kids the opportunity to experience an airplane ride, many for the first time! The kids had a blast!! A Cessna 188 AgWagon, based on the field, was on display for everyone to look over. Following airplane rides the meeting continued with a talk on cropdusting operations and aircraft performance and concluded with a cropdusting flight demonstration. Hot dogs and sodas topped off the day!
